We collect personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Contact form — name, email address, and any details you include in your message (for sales enquiries this may include phone number, artwork of interest and budget; for exhibition enquiries this may include organisation, role and proposed dates).
  • Editions purchases — name, email address, billing and shipping address, and payment details. Payment details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored by us.
  • Website analytics — if you consent to cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised data about how you use this site (pages visited, session duration, device type). No personally identifiable information is included.

3. How and why we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry — lawful basis: legitimate interest. We use the information you submit via the contact form solely to reply to you.
  • To fulfil your order — lawful basis: contract. We use your purchase information to process and ship your order and send you an order confirmation.
  • To understand site usage — lawful basis: consent. Analytics data is only collected if you accept cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by declining cookies in the banner.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling or direct marketing, and we will never sell your data to third parties.

4. Who we share your data with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this website. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by appropriate data protection agreements:

  • Resend — transmits contact form submissions to us by email. Messages are not stored beyond delivery.
  • Stripe — processes payments for Editions purchases. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Google Analytics — collects anonymised site usage data if you have consented to analytics cookies.
  • Vercel — hosts this website. Vercel may log standard server request data (IP address, user agent) for security and performance purposes.

5. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries — emails are retained in our inbox for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted.
  • Purchase records — kept for 7 years to comply with HMRC financial record-keeping requirements.
  • Analytics data — Google Analytics retains data for 26 months by default.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data where there is no compelling reason to continue holding it.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data while a complaint is resolved.

  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
